Instagram acaba de lanzar una actualización para mejorar la búsqueda de contenido dónde los hashtags cobran una importancia fundamental. Antes, si buscaban un hashtag en la aplicación, aparecía un feed con las publicaciones destacadas sobre el mismo, pero sin ofrecer resultados completos como Cuentas, Lugares, Audios o Reels.
Con esta nueva actualización se introducen resultados de búsqueda más amplios y con un diseño igual al de la pestaña “Explorar”. De esta forma, Instagram mejora la posibilidad de descubrir contenido y cuentas a través del uso de hashtags y no solo por el posicionamiento de las publicaciones. Esto permite a los usuarios profundizar en diferentes elementos y no solo limitarse a las publicaciones principales.

Por lo tanto, vuelve a cobrar relevancia el uso de hashtags en las publicaciones para llegar a aquellos usuarios interesados en ese tema concreto. Lo ideal es mezclar hashtags más genéricos con otros más específicos relacionados con la publicación o el producto o servicio que se ofrece.
Además, también adquiere trascendencia el uso de palabras clave en los perfiles, ya que ayudan a maximizar su aparición en la pantalla de “Cuentas”. Los perfiles que se muestran dentro de una búsqueda de hashtag no necesariamente incluyen ese hashtag en cada publicación y actualización, pero generalmente tienen la palabra en el nombre o en la descripción del perfil, de ahí la importancia de actualizar estos apartados con las palabras clave de nuestro negocio.
